We believe in a God of grace who loves us unconditionally. There is nothing we have done or can do to earn that love, and nothing will ever separate us from it.

 

We believe God’s grace was revealed fully in Jesus Christ, who lived, died, and was raised from the dead. His life, death, and resurrection set us free from sin and empower us to love as God loves. And He is present to all God’s children through the power of the Holy Spirit.

STYLE OF WORSHIP

Our service features scripture readings, a mix of traditional hymns, choral, and contemporary music, a children’s message, sermon, prayer, and a moment to connect with one another. We pass offering plates every week and practice “open table” communion every first Sunday, meaning everyone may participate. We also incorporate God’s gift of laughter into worship regularly. Service starts at 10:30am; all are welcome!

 

CHILDREN IN WORSHIP

Children are a vital part of our congregation and we involve them in worship as much as possible. There is a children’s message in every worship service and we have kid-friendly areas on either side of the sanctuary that contain tables, activities, and fidget toys. Third-graders and older may sign up to be acolytes, scripture readers, and communion servers. For more information about our Children’s Ministry, please click the button below.

We’re happy to answer questions, provide a church map, and recommend Sunday School classes—or even chat with you over a cup of coffee at The Welcome Cup! 

 

NEWCOMERS’ BRUNCH

On a quarterly basis, we host a Newcomers’ Brunch after worship for those getting to know Christ UMC. It’s a way to meet pastors, connect with others, ask questions, and learn about the life of our church in a comfortable setting. Visitors are then invited to join a Connect Class to learn more about membership.
