ADMINISTRATIVE COUNCIL
Serves as the primary leadership body, helping discern vision, set priorities, and support the ministries of Christ UMC. Brings together church leaders, staff, and ministry representatives to ensure the congregation remains focused on its mission of worship, service, and spiritual growth.
STAFF PARISH RELATIONS
Supports healthy relationships between church staff and the congregation. Provides encouragement, accountability, and care for staff members while helping ensure the church remains a positive and effective place for ministry.
LAY LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
Helps identify, encourage, and equip church members for meaningful service. By matching gifts with opportunities, this committee helps members grow as leaders while strengthening the ministries that serve our congregation and community.
FINANCE
Provides oversight for the church’s financial stewardship. From budgeting to long-term planning, this team helps ensure resources are managed responsibly so Christ UMC can continue serving both the congregation and the wider community with faithfulness and integrity.
OUTREACH
Helps Christ UMC extend God’s love beyond the church walls. Through local partnerships, mission projects, and community support, this ministry creates opportunities for members to serve others and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those around them.
BOARD OF TRUSTEES
Cares for the church’s buildings, grounds, and physical resources. Their work helps ensure that Christ UMC remains a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained place where ministry can flourish for generations to come.
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY TEAM
Helps create a safe, joyful environment where children can learn about God’s love and grow in faith. Through lessons, events, and family support, this team nurtures the spiritual foundation of our youngest members while helping them feel fully welcomed as part of the church family.
WORSHIP
Works to create meaningful services that draw people closer to God. By helping plan seasonal elements, special services, and the overall worship experience, this team supports a worship life that is thoughtful, welcoming, and spiritually enriching.
CREATION CARE
Encourages faithful stewardship of God’s creation through education, advocacy, and practical action. This ministry helps the congregation care for the earth in meaningful ways while connecting environmental responsibility with our call to love and serve God’s world.
CONGREGATIONAL CARE
Helps ensure that no one in our church family feels alone. Through visits, prayer, meals, and compassionate support, this ministry offers comfort during difficult seasons and celebrates alongside members in times of joy, strengthening the bonds of our church community.
