Children's Ministry

Welcome to Christ UMC Children’s Ministry! We are so excited for the opportunity to be in relationship with you and your family. Here at Christ UMC, children are an important part of the congregation. We seek to teach and lead children in the faith, but we also affirm the gifts of children to lead and serve.

We invite you to check out the many opportunities designed just for your children and family.

Ms. Aimee's Sunday Morning Show

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Christ UMC does not currently offer child care.

Children’s Message

During our worship service, at 10:15 in-person or livestream, children (of all ages) are invited and encouraged to hear from one of our Pastors or Lay Volunteers, a special moment just for our children.

Children’s Worship

Children ages 3 through 1st grade are invited to a worship service designed just for children. Our children’s worship is taking a break until fall. Our worship time is child-directed, experiential, and guided by the liturgical calendar.

Children Worship Participation

We believe that children are a vital part of our congregation and we seek to train them to lead in worship as often as possible. Once children are in 3rd grade, they are invited to be acolytes, scripture readers, and communion servers.

Sunday School

Sunday school is current not available onsite. Contact Aimee Cox for other small group activities.

BANANA Club stands for Believers Are Never Alone Nor Abandoned. Meeting on Sundays, it is a club for 5th and 6th graders at Christ United Methodist Church. We’ll laugh, learn about God and each other, and play some games. And of course, we’ll have fun!

Meets on Sundays, it is a club for 3rd and 4th grades at Christ United Methodist Church. As with BANANA club, groups will learn about God and each other, while playing some games. Contact Aimee for more information.
