Christ UMC Worship Services

Weekly Worship:

  • Rev. Adam Kelchner
    Mark 10:46-52

""Then Jesus said to him, 'What do you want me to do for you?' The blind man said to him, 'My teacher, let me see again.' "

What would it look like if we were dreaming God’s dreams for 37064 and 37069? Are we seeing clearly how to serve all of our neighbors?

  • Rev. Adam Kelchner
    Mark 10:35-45
"Then Jesus said to them, 'The cup that I drink you will drink; and with the baptism with which I am baptized, you will be baptized; 40 but to sit at my right hand or at my left is not mine to grant, but it is for those for whom it has been prepared.' "

  • Sermon by Rev. Anne Hook
Christ United Methodist Church – Franklin, TN.
    Mark 10: 17-31
"Then Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, "How hard it will be for those who have wealth to enter the kingdom of God!' "

Does Jesus mean for believers in our day and culture to take this passage literally? If so, what do we need to do to be faithful followers of Jesus?

  • Rev. Scott Marshall-Kimball
    Mark 10:2-16
“Let the little children come to me; do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs”

You don’t have to do anything sensational to be loved.

  • Rev. Adam Kelchner

    Mark 9:38-50

"If any of you put a stumbling block before one of these little ones who believe in me, it would be better for you if a great millstone were hung around your neck and you were thrown into the sea."

What are the stumbling blocks that keep you from growing in love of God and neighbor? How are you acting as a stumbling block to your neighbor’s life with God?
