Children's Ministry

Welcome to Christ UMC Children’s Ministry! We are so excited for the opportunity to be in relationship with you and your family.

Here at Christ UMC, children are an important part of the congregation. We seek to teach and lead children in the faith, but we also affirm the gifts of children to lead and serve. We invite you to check out the many opportunities designed just for your children and family.

Upcoming Meetings and Events

Sunday Mornings

 

Nursery

Nursery care is provided in room 121 for children age 3 and under. All nursery staff are Safe Sanctuary trained, background checked, and CPR and First Aid Certified. Our nursery opens each Sunday morning at 9:00 am. 

 

Children In Worship

We believe that children are a vital part of our congregation and we seek to train them to lead in worship as often as possible. Worshiping as a family is an important part of your child's spiritual development. Once in 3rd grade, children are invited to be acolytes, scripture readers, and communion servers. There are also things in our worship service that are just for kids!

Sunday School

Sunday school is offered for children age 2 through 6th grade beginning at 9:15 am in the Children's Commmons area located in the lower level of our building. 

Fellowship Opportunities

 

BANANA Club

B.A.N.A.N.A. Club (Believers Are Never Alone Nor Abandoned) is a fellowship gathering for 5th and 6th graders. On a typical Sunday night we will play games, learn about God, and have fun! 

 

APPLE Club

A.P.P.L.E. Club (All People Praying and Loving Everyone) is a fellowhsip gathering for 3rd and 4th graders. Just like BANANA club we play games, learn about God, and have fun! 

 

GRAPE Club

Grape Club is a fellowship gathering for Preschool (age 2) through 2nd grade. This group meets once per quarter for games, learning about God, and having fun.

 

In addition to BANANA & APPLE Club, we have monthly events and programming specifically designed for our preschool and early elementary friends.
