What We Believe
We believe in a God of grace who loves us unconditionally. There is nothing we have done or can do to earn that love, and nothing will ever separate us from it.
We believe God’s grace was revealed fully in Jesus Christ, who lived, died and was raised from the dead. His life, death, and resurrection set us free from sin and empower us to love as God loves. And that he is present to all God’s children through the power of the Holy Spirit.
We believe that the scriptures are best understood when they are read and interpreted within a community of faith. We also believe the church is the Body of Christ in the world, meant to do as Jesus did by, among many things, feeding the hungry, welcoming the outcast, sharing our possessions, offering healing and hope to the lost, and sharing the witness of faith.

Visitors are always welcome at Christ UMC!
We invite you to stop by our Welcome Center, located inside the South Main Entrance, for a free gift from Christ UMC to you!
Volunteers staff the Welcome Center beginning before Sunday School at 9am until after worship at 11:45 am on Sunday mornings.
We're happy to answer questions, provide you with a map of the building and a list of Sunday School classes - even share a cup of coffee!

What About My Kids?
Christ UMC is extremely kid friendly. We have active children's and youth ministries. There's always plenty for young ones to do. Check our Children and Youth Ministry pages for more information.
