Hurricane Florence Response, October 14
The Outreach Committee is planning a service event on Oct 14 during the Sunday school hour in response to Hurricane Florence. We’ll be assembling Health Kits and Cleaning Kits for those in need. Outreach will fund the purchase of materials using the Outreach Emergency Reserve Fund. You may help by sponsoring a Health Kit ($12 value) and/or a Cleaning Kit ($75).

Ladies’ Night Out, October 16
Ladies’ Night Out is a monthly social get-together for women of the church. Our next gathering is on Tuesday, October 16, 6:30 pm. We will be dining at Amerigo Italian Restaurant, located at 1656 Westgate Circle in Brentwood. If you are interested in attending, please contact Sue Mueller. Newcomers are warmly invited!
Book Club, October 21
The next Christ UMC Book Club will meet on Sunday, October 21, and the book will be The Little Russian by Susan Sherman. All are welcome to join us at Panera Bread at 4pm on the 21st for discussion led by Ethel Detch. For more information, please contact Jan Phelps.

Fall Fest, October 28
Sunday, October 28th is our annual Fall Fest, including Trunk Or Treat! Please join us from 3pm to 6pm for fall games, hayrides, face painting, snacks, fun, etc. All are welcome.
